Through the Costco Mobile App, you can access a digital version of your membership card. Costco’s app will also allow you to renew your membership and view your 2% reward balance on your phone.
HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD?In order to access your Digital Membership Card, you must have an active Costco membership and a mobile device with an OS version from the following list:
Android OS Versions: 10, 11, and 12
iOS Versions: 15.x and 14
Note: The digital card will not operate on tablet devices.

I HAVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON ON MY MEMBERSHIP. WHY CAN’T I SEE ALL THE DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARDS IN THE APP?
Each Digital Membership Card will allow for one individual’s membership card per device. Though Primary and Household members are on the same membership, each person has a unique membership number. Each member must have a separate Costco.com account to access a Digital Membership Card. Only Business members who also have an additional membership linked to the same account may see multiple membership cards on a single Digital Membership Card account.
If your Household member would like to access their Digital Membership Card on their device, they will need to create their own Costco.com account with their unique membership number. Learn how to create your own Costco.com account here.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD PHOTO?
Please visit your local warehouse membership counter to update your photo. (Note: if you are a Costco Anywhere Visa® credit card holder, taking a new photo will automatically issue you a new credit card. The credit card number will not change.)
If your Digital Membership Card displays inaccurate information, please visit your local Membership counter or contact us using the link on the left of this page to update your information.
HOW DO I TRANSFER MY DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD ONTO A NEW PHONE?On your new phone, open your Costco App and tap the membership tab. You will be prompted to transfer your Digital Membership Card onto your new device. You can transfer your digital card to a new phone one time before you need to visit the Membership counter or contact us using the link on the left of this page to reset your digital card. Transfers include uninstalling and reinstalling the app, even on the same phone. Screenshot versions of the digital card cannot be scanned at Costco registers.
WHAT IF MY PHONE IS LOST OR STOLEN?If your phone contains your Digital Membership Card and is lost or stolen, please visit a Membership counter at your local warehouse to receive a new membership number. If you have a Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi, you’ll receive a new credit card as well.
You’ll also want to change your Costco.com account password and reinstall your digital card on your new phone.
CAN I PAY USING MY DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD?If you have a Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi, you can add it as a payment method to your Digital Membership Card. Read more details here.
